Women’s Euro 2025: Matchday 3 Betting Tips

Football Predictions

The third matchday of the Women’s Euro 2025 group stage promises high levels of drama, with places in the quarter-finals still up for grabs.

Norway, Spain, Sweden, Germany and France have already booked their spots in the knockout stage, but the other three names are still unknown.

Get ready for more twists and turns in Switzerland and below, we have compiled some tips for your midweek bet on Women’s Euro 2025, part of the way in which we help customers with their bets on football.

*All odds are subject to change

England to score over 3.5 goals vs Wales @ 1.88

After a 2-1 loss to France on Matchday 1, Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses bounced back in style against the Netherlands. England claimed a 4-0 victory over the Dutch to put themselves in a great position to reach the knockout stage. A win over Wales would secure qualification – and we are backing the Lionesses to rack up the goals. The Welsh lost 3-0 to the Netherlands and were then beaten 4-1 by France on Matchday 2. If England score early in the match, expect the reigning European champions to win by a considerable margin.

Netherlands vs France: Draw @ 3.63

The Netherlands will rightly be disgusted by their performance against England, but they have the chance to right some of those wrongs on Matchday 3. France’s place in the quarter-finals is already secured and although top spot in the group is still up for grabs, we would not be surprised if they took their foot off the gas a tad. The Netherlands also have the firepower to challenge the French defence, namely through Vivianne Miedema, who has scored 100 international goals. So we really like the look of the odds for a draw in this one.

Spain to score over 2.5 goals vs Italy @ 1.92

Spain have been sensational at this Euros thus far, following up a 5-0 thrashing of Portugal with a 6-2 victory over Belgium. Two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas has been a standout performer, with the Barcelona star scoring three of Spain’s 11 goals. The world champions will look to secure top spot in the group in this fixture, so Italy have no real hope of La Roja taking it easy. Spain have scored over 2.5 goals in five of their last six fixtures and even though Italy have shown huge defensive improvements of late, this might be a step too far.

Sweden vs Germany: Draw @ 3.27

Sweden and Germany are both level on six points in Group C, with the Scandinavian side sitting top by virtue of a superior goal difference. So it really is all to play for in this clash between two very talented teams, teams who could go all the way at Women’s Euro 2025. Sweden and Germany have met four times over the last eight years, with two of those fixtures ending in a draw – including the most recent in February 2023. So you can understand why the odds of another stalemate are so appealing!
