Bayern Munich vs Boca Juniors Preview
The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida will play host for this intriguing match.
Bayern thrashed Auckland City 10-0 on Matchday 1 of this tournament, while Boca earned a credible 2-2 draw against European heavyweights Benfica.
It is a result which should give the South Americans a degree of confidence heading into this fixture, although Vincent Kompany’s side – which is on a run of five wins in six across all competitions – represents a step up in class.
Bayern did not even need talisman Harry Kane at his best to thrash Auckland City, with Kinglsey Coman, Michael Olise and Thomas Muller netting braces. Oh, and Jamal Musiala scored a hat-trick after coming off the bench!
So Boca will know the size of the task in front of them and five matches across all competitions without a win in 90 minutes is not exactly ideal preparation for a test against Germany’s finest.
The Argentines will also be missing influential midfielder Ander Herrera and centre-back Jorge Figal following their red cards against Benfica, which represents two hammerblows for manager Miguel Angel Russo.
If Bayern score early in Miami, a Boca fightback is very, very unlikely – even with their passionate fans cheering them on!

Bayern Munich vs Boca Juniors Betting Tips
Harry Kane to have over 2.5 shots on target @ 2.63
While Kane was not among the goals on Matchday 1, it is rare the England captain goes two matches in a row without really threatening in the final third. We are backing him to sting Agustin Marchesin’s gloves at least three times in this match.
Michael Olise to score or assist @ 1.62
As previously mentioned, Olise scored twice against Auckland City and his numbers in the 2024-25 Bundesliga campaign make this selection stand out even more. The Frenchman scored 12 goals and tallied 15 assists, a truly world-class return – and Boca may feel the full force of his brilliance.
Bayern Munich will win both halves – Yes @ 2.25
With positive form behind them and a level of strength-in-depth which is up there with the best in the world, Bayern should cruise to victory in Miami. And while this is a slight risk, it is a potentially great way to more-than-double your money on a win for the German side.
