Jupiler Pro League Play-Offs: Matchday 4 Betting Tips

Jupiler Pro League 2023

The drama in the Jupiler Pro League Championship Round is only intensifying.

Club Brugge’s 1-0 victory at Genk means the gap at the top is down to just a single point.

Can Genk hold their nerve and preserve their place at the summit? We will soon find out, but before we do, here are some Pro League betting tips for your football bets online.

Three of the tips focus on the Championship Round fixtures this weekend, while the other is part of the Europa Conference League Qualification Group.

*All odds are subject to change

Union Saint-Gilloise to beat Genk @ 2.69

Third-placed USG have been the standout team so far in the Championship Round, winning all three matches and scoring 10 goals. So while we rarely bet against Genk, we are changing our tune this time around. Of course, Genk are unbeaten at home this season and beat USG 2-1 in front of their own fans on Matchday 30 of the regular season. But the recent form of USG is just too good to turn down and the odds on them achieving victory are pretty eye-catching too. One thing is for sure, it is going to be an amazing match!

Standard Liege vs Westerlo: Draw @ 3.29

This is a battle between two sides in search of their first victory in the Europa Conference League Qualification Group. Standard have drawn two matches and lost one, with Westerlo possessing an identical record after three matchdays. Both sides drew last weekend to Dender and Charleroi respectively, with draws seemingly a common theme in the second tier of the play-offs. So no wonder we are backing yet another draw in this fixture, eh? But it is worth remembering that Westerlo won both matches against Standard in the regular season, which makes their price of 2.84 look slightly more appealing.

Anderlecht vs Royal Antwerp: Draw @ 3.50

Yes we are tipping another draw in a skirmish between two sides desperate to end losing runs. Anderlecht and Antwerp have both suffered three defeats on the spin in the Championship Round, with each of them falling way behind the dominant top three. This match will either be a goal-fest as both teams just go for it in search of revival, or it will be a tense contest with neither side looking to take a risk. Sadly, we think it will be the latter, as Anderlecht and Antwerp look to avoid the dreaded run of four consecutive losses.

Club Brugge to beat Gent @ 1.61

Okay, this is far from our boldest tip of the 2024-25 season, but it seems a pretty sure-fire bet to us. Club Brugge are riding the crest of a wave following their 1-0 home win over Genk last weekend, sealed in dramatic fashion by a stoppage-time strike from marauding full-back Maxim De Cuyper. And while Gent produced a decent display to beat Antwerp 1-0 away from home on Matchday 3, we just cannot see them earning a positive result in this fixture.
