Genk to beat Charleroi @ 2.34

The league leaders face a tough task this weekend, as they visit Charleroi in an attempt to further increase their advantage at the top. Nine points clear, they will be feeling calm and confident going into this one and clear favourites for the win. But facing stoic opposition and with complacency a serious threat, this may be a more complex tie than anticipated. We still think Genk have what it takes to take home all three points, though.

Club Brugge to beat Gent @ 1.74

A top six clash that could have serious implications on the title race is slated for this weekend – and we’re backing it to be the game of the weekend! Fresh from an amazing Champions League triumph over Italian giants Atalanta, Club Brugge will want to hit their stride in the league once again and chase down Genk at the top of the table. Some recent poor form has opened up a deficit to the top spot, but the reigning champions will be unfazed. Their undoubted quality can easily get them three points this weekend.

Oud Heverlee-Leuven to beat Westerlo @ 2.45

OHL sit just three points above the final relegation play-off spot as things stand. In that position sit Westerlo. With so much on the line, both teams have no choice but to go all in and put on a strong display to try and avoid the relegation scrap. With inconsistent form on both parts, it’s anyone’s guess how this one will go. But 9th-placed OHL have proven the capability to pull themselves out of tricky situations, which we think they’ll do again this weekend.

Anderlecht to beat Standard Liege @ 1.92

After crashing out of the Europa League at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, Anderlecht’s full focus will be on the Pro League. They currently sit in the top six and are cruising towards the play-offs. Their form has been a little patchy of late, but a few wins will build their confidence and return them to their formidable stature. Standard, however, lie just a single place outside the play-offs and only three points adrift. They’ll be keen to make that up this week, but sadly, we think Anderlecht will overpower them.
