Christos Tzolis to score for Club Brugge vs Standard Liege @ 2.60

In a battle at the top of the table, Club Brugge will be looking to bounce back after a run of poor form in the league has seen them win only two of the last five games, with their deficit to leaders Genk widening to eight points. While not insurmountable, it will be tough to make up and require serious consistency. Their European exploits may highlight an element of fatigue, but they are aware of the importance of this game and will go all out to take home three points. Tzolis is a key figure in the Club Brugge attack with 13 goals in all competitions this season, and we think he’ll strike again at home this weekend!

Genk to beat Gent @ 1.59

Top-of-the-table Genk host 6th-placed Gent, who are looking to solidify their place in the top six. Genk have a reasonably comfortable lead at the summit, but cannot afford to be casual, as Club Brugge will be there to prey on any slip-ups. Genk will need to be at their best to defeat a Gent team which is unbeaten in the last five and will not go down without a fight. But on this occasion, we’re backing the leaders to keep their winning streak going.

Union Saint Gilloise to beat Anderlecht @ 2.51

Perhaps the best game of the round, 3rd-placed USG take on 4th-placed Anderlecht in a crucial clash at the top. Should there be a winner, they will end the day in 3rd place, a significant milestone and an ideal spot heading into the play-offs, should they be able to maintain it. If Anderlecht lose, it will open a five-point gap that will take some work to re-close. They can’t afford any mistakes, but this weekend, we think USG will just be too good away from home and claim the victory.

Cercle Brugge to beat Kortrijk @ 2.30

At the other end of the table, we have an intriguing match up in the battle to avoid relegation, where 13th-placed Cercle Brugge travel to 15th-placed Kortrijk in a real six-pointer. After their impressive run of form wore off, Cercle Brugge have dropped back down into the relegation places and must show their resilience to climb to safety once again. While Kortrijk are 11 points from safety and do not have any time to waste if they want to escape the risk of the drop. It’s a vital game for two sides who are desperate for points. However, Cercle Brugge certainly have what it takes to climb out of the relegation zone this weekend.
