Tottenham to beat Roma @ 1.72

The ever hard to pin down Tottenham Hotspur are in their usual unpredictable form in both league and European competition. With some big wins over the likes of Manchester City and Aston Villa, but shock losses to Ipswich and Galatasaray, they are in limbo in terms of expectations.

But they have been prolific in front of goal of late, so will present a tough challenge to any team – and this week that will be Serie A’s AS Roma. Struggling down in 12th domestically, their hopes of a bit of joy this season rest heavily on cup competitions.

In which they have had a mixed start, currently in the play-off places of the Europa League table. It could definitely be worse, but they will want to climb the table into the automatic spots, where they should be. Do they have enough to kickstart the ascent and beat Spurs? Not in our opinion.

Manchester United vs Bodo/Glimt: Both Teams to score @ 1.94

In a game that may be more significant than meets the eye for new Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim, Manchester United will host Norway’s Bodo/Glimt.

After a draw at the weekend with relegation battlers Ipswich, United will need to get a win under their belt to avoid descending into another downward spiral they are unable to control. Bodo/Glimt are performing fairly well on both fronts this season, residing top of the Norwegian league and sitting a healthy 12th place in the Europa League. Probably exceeding the expectations those who are unfamiliar with them will have set.

They are by no means a team to be overlooked and will give anyone in the competition a hard day at the office. But United are arguably the biggest club on the planet and pose an entirely different prospect, particularl with new found motivation in the Amorim era. Either way, it is set to be a thriller and we are predicting both teams to get on the scoresheet.

Real Sociedad to beat Ajax @ 1.97

Two of the bigger names in the competition with incredible European pedigree and some top-class players. However, they are enduring different challenges this season. Ajax sit third in the Eredivisie, far from their former glory but are making a steady comeback to begin challenging for the title they are so used to winning.

But still in a drought of European trophies, without a win since 1995, the Amsterdam-based outfit are beginning to enter the conversation again, sitting second in the Europa League and so far unbeaten in the competition.

But Sociedad are still an elite side with a host of extremely talented players. While they may be struggling in 10th in La Liga, this is not entirely reflective of their performance. Similarly in the Europa League, they are outside of any qualification spots, but this is likely to change, and we think that will start with a win over Ajax.

OGC Nice to beat Rangers @ 1.83

Nice are another side who are seemingly underperforming on expectations this season, all the way down in 31st in the Europa League table. But fifth in Ligue 1, they only need a spark to go on a blazing run through to the deeper stages of the competition.

That spark could come at home to Scotland’s Rangers. Young loan star Yousouffa Moukoko has been their main attacking force as he finds his feet in the European game. He will be hoping to make an impact and drive Nice further up the table and into qualification places.

Rangers, however, are firmly within said spots, sitting 10th and just two points away from automatic qualification. Their excellent run will motivate them greatly to make a final push into the top eight. Their league form is a little to be desired, third and 11 points behind bitter rivals and leaders Celtic. This inconsistency is why we think they will have a tough time in Nice and will likely return to Glasgow without adding to their points tally.
