Club Brugge’s clash with Anderlecht is one of the standout fixtures of Matchday 12 in the Jupiler Pro League.
With just a point separating the sides, Sunday’s game does not appear to be an easy one to call.
But as well as having home advantage in their favour, Club Brugge have lost just once in their last five league outings.
Granted, two of those games were draws, but their recent form is superior to Anderlecht’s.
The visitors have picked up just five points from their last five games and David Hubert has a job on his hands to lift his troops after last Friday’s surprise defeat at basement boys Beerschot.

Club Brugge vs Anderlecht Preview
After a disappointing start to the season saw them pick up just one point from three league games, Club Brugge won four on the spin.
They have lost just once in four outings since that impressive run and Anderlecht should not cause the home side too many problems.
However, a 3-1 defeat at AC Milan on Tuesday night may have dented their confidence, especially as it leaves Nicky Hayen’s side on just three points after three Champions League games.
Anderlecht, meanwhile, had been building some momentum and the appointment of Hubert on a permanent basis was expected to keep their campaign on the right track.
But the wheels came off at Beerschot, with the strugglers securing a 2-1 victory thanks to a double from Marwan Al Sahafi.
Kasper Dolberg netted Anderlecht’s goal from the penalty spot during that game to take his league tally to three for the season.
He was introduced as a second-half sub on Thursday as Hubert’s side beat Ludogorets 2-0 in the Europa League.
And the away side will need the 27-year-old Dane at his best if they are to stand any chance of leaving Bruges with a positive result.

Recent league form is reflected in the odds and a home win is priced at 1.61. There is value in a draw at 3.88, while an away win is a long shot at 4.90. Brave bettors who put their faith in Anderlecht will be well rewarded should Hubert’s men manage to get the job done.
Club Brugge vs Anderlecht Betting Tips
With three goals and four assists in the league this term, Gustaf Nilsson will attract plenty of interest in the first goalscorer market at 5.90. But if you do not fancy a Club Brugge player to break the deadlock, Dolberg is a very tempting 10.00 to find the net first.
Bet Builder Quick Bets: Dolberg to score anytime, Anderlecht to win, over 2.5 goals & BTTS – 10.00
This one goes against the grain somewhat considering we have suggested a Club Brugge win is likely to be on the cards — but a price of 10.00 is always going to catch the eye. Should Dolberg net and Anderlecht claim three points from a game with over 2.5 goals and in which both teams score, it will undoubtedly have been one hell of a watch!
