Jupiler Pro League: Matchday 12 Acca

Jupiler Pro League

All eyes will be on Gent’s clash with table-topping Genk on Sunday as Jupiler Pro League fans are treated to some must-see fixtures on Matchday 12.

While Genk are favourites to pick up three points after winning four of their last five games, Gent will be no pushovers at home.

Elsewhere, Club Brugge host Anderlecht in what is expected to be a tasty lunchtime encounter at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Ahead of an action-packed weekend of games, our expert tipster has studied the form and pulled together an accumulator that could be a nice little earner from a €5 stake with an 8% boost.

Before you check out the five selections, be sure to cast your eye over Bet777’s full range of Pro League odds.

And do not forget live betting will be available on each of the eight Matchday 12 fixtures.

Beerschot to beat Kortrijk – 3.91

Having picked up just two points prior to last weekend, basement boys Beerschot injected some much-needed positivity into their season with a shock 2-1 victory over Anderlecht. And former Liverpool hero Dirk Kuyt will want his side to build on that win when they head to fellow strugglers Kortrijk on Friday night. The hosts may be six points better off than Kuyt’s men but the price for an away win appears too good to overlook.

Mechelen to beat Dender – 2.36

Mechelen head to Dender in confident mood after securing back-to-back league wins. Impressively, Besnik Hasi’s side kept clean sheets as they scored five against Leuven before putting three past Kortrijk. Dender are unbeaten in three but managed to find the net just twice during those games. If recent form is anything to go by, the home side will be in for a difficult 90 minutes on Saturday night.

Club Brugge to beat Anderlecht – 1.60

With just a point separating the sides, this one is not easy to call. But in addition to having home advantage in their favour, Club Brugge have lost just once in their last five league outings. Granted, two of those games were draws, but their form is better than Anderlecht’s. The visitors have picked up just five points from their last five games and David Hubert has a job on his hands to lift his troops after the surprise defeat at Beerschot.

Antwerp to beat Standard Liege – 1.53

Antwerp are the form side in the Pro League and anything other than a home win would be a shock. Jonas De Roeck’s team have collected 13 points from their last five matches and should have more than enough in the locker to see off Standard Liege. The visitors trail their opponents by five points in the table and their recent form suggests an upset is unlikely on Sunday afternoon.

Genk to beat Gent – 2.10

Genk head to Gent sitting pretty at the top of the league after claiming 25 points from 11 games. A disappointing 2-1 defeat at Kortrijk earlier this month was followed by a 3-2 home win over STVV and boss Thorsten Fink will be desperate to mastermind another victory. Gent are seven points behind the leaders and it is hard to look beyond them slipping to a fourth defeat of the season.
