Jupiler Pro League: Matchday 4 Acca

Jupiler Pro League 2022

The third gameweek of the 2024-25 Jupiler Pro League season saw goals flying in all across Belgium.

Westerlo beat Union Saint-Gilloise 4-3, while defending champions Club Brugge lost 3-2 at Genk.

We also saw Antwerp defeat Sint-Truidenese VV 6-1 in a very one-sided – but goal-filled – affair.

Will there be the same levels of drama this weekend? Never rule it out when it comes to the Jupiler Pro League.

Ahead of the fourth round of fixtures, Bet777 has made four picks for an accumulator with brilliant odds of 43.65.

Let’s begin…

Westerlo to beat Gent @ 3.62

*Odds are subject to change

In case you were unaware, Westerlo are the form team in the Pro League this season with three wins from three.

They have also scored a division-high 11 goals in 2024-25, so we are backing them to continue their impressive run when they travel to play Gent on Sunday evening.

Westerlo are the underdogs going into the match, but that was also the case prior to their aforementioned victory over Union SG.

Gent’s previous outing saw them lose 1-0 at Charleroi, so it will take a dramatic improvement for them to get the better of the table-toppers.

Leuven to beat Cercle Brugge @ 2.76

Now, it may seem strange that we are not backing a team whose previous Pro League outing saw them record a 4-1 win over Beerschot.

However, Cercle Brugge will go into their match against Leuven on Sunday with tired legs having played a midweek Europa League qualifier against Molde.

And Leuven are yet to be defeated this season, with two draws and a crucial 3-1 home victory over Genk on Matchday 2.

But this is set to be a close affair and there could be goals aplenty as a result. Both teams to score is priced at 1.66.

Club Brugge vs Antwerp, both teams to score @ 1.70

Club Brugge’s start to the 2024-25 season has been disappointing – to say the very least.

The reigning champions are yet to taste victory in the Pro League this term, suffering two away defeats and recording a disappointing 1-1 home draw with Mechelen on the opening weekend.

As such, we can see them getting beat by an Antwerp side fresh from a 6-1 triumph. However, we feel opting for both teams to score is a slightly safer option, as Brugge have the tools to bounce back immediately.

But they will have to try and do so without key attacker Antonio Nusa, who has completed a move to RB Leipzig – which really is a hammer blow for manager Nicky Hayen.

Standard Liege to beat Kortrijk @ 2.57

Kortrijk will be reeling after suffering a 4-1 defeat at Dender last weekend.

Can they bounce back against Standard Liege? We do not reckon so, even with home advantage.

Standard have enjoyed a fairly decent start to the campaign, famously claiming a 1-0 win over Club Brugge on Matchday 2 and tallying three clean sheets in a row.

A drab 0-0 draw with Mechelen last time out was perhaps a sign they are not ready to challenge for the title just yet, but a victory here looks firmly on the cards, especially with their impressive defensive line.
