Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs
In the AFC Championship match, number one seed Baltimore host the number three seed Kansas City. The Ravens’ 13-4 record was the best in the NFL regular season, and they have since dispatched the Houston Texans 34-10 in a convincing playoff victory.
Lamar Jackson was once again the star of the show for Baltimore, throwing two touchdowns and completing 16 passes at a 72.7% accuracy rate. This game is being dubbed the battle of the quarterbacks, and if Baltimore are to advance to the Super Bowl, Jackson will need to keep up with his opposite number Patrick Mahomes.
After faltering to an 11-6 regular season record, the Chiefs had to navigate their way through the Wild Card round. They did so with ease, beating the Miami Dolphins 26-7 in a game many though could go the way of Miami.
They then went toe-to-toe with Buffalo in a closely contested Divisional Playoff, with a missed field goal late in the fourth quarter from Tyler Bass securing Kansas City’s spot in the next round.
Although Baltimore have been the more consistent side this campaign, we can’t look past the Chiefs at 2.55. Mahomes knows better than anyone how to win in the postseason, and he has the support around him to come out on top in a hostile environment.

San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions
In the NFC, San Francisco host Detroit. Both teams boasted a 12-5 regular season record, but the Lions got to this point by way of the Wild Card round. They narrowly beat the LA Rams, before going on to beat Tampa Bay 31-23 in the Divisional Playoffs.
For the 49ers, they had a tough home outing against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. San Francisco were 21-14 down heading into the final quarter but a Christian McCaffrey touchdown gave them a hard-fought victory.
The 49ers will come into this one as huge favourites, thanks to their home-field advantage and dominance of this fixture. They have won 11 of their last 12 games against the Lions dating back to 1996, including back-to-back wins in their most recent matches.
The 49ers are undoubtedly a more well-rounded outfit heading into this Conference Championship match but they offer little value for an outright win at 1.30. Instead, we’ll look at the points and handicap market. The last three meetings have seen 49+ points, while eight of the 49ers’ previous 11 wins against Detroit have been by a touchdown or more.
