Europe’s top football leagues are back this weekend and there is plenty of action to look forward to. We’ve cast an eye over all the fixtures and picked out some potential winners based on the latest football odds.
Whether you choose to play with Bet777.be or any other online sportsbook, you can find a range of live betting markets on the below matches.
Augsburg vs Bayer Leverkusen
Leverkusen have been the surprise package in Europe this season. They sit top of the Bundesliga after a remarkable start to the campaign and will be hoping to extend their lead against Augsburg this weekend. Xabi Alonso’s side are still yet to taste defeat in 25 matches across all competitions, with the young side brimming with confidence.
In contrast, Augsburg have won just once in their previous seven. They have been far better on home soil than on the road, but they are just the latest victim in Leverkusen’s unstoppable run.
Bayer Leverkusen to win – 1.50
Everton vs Aston Villa
It’s over to England now where Everton host Aston Villa in a Premier League clash. Although their performances have improved of late, the Toffees are without a win since mid-December having lost four (one on penalties) and drawn one of their previous five outings.
On the other hand, Aston Villa have lost just once since early November, a 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford after leading United 2-0. Unai Emery has turned the Villans into a well-oiled machine and we expect them to march on at Goodison Park this weekend.
Aston Villa to win – 2.42
Manchester United vs Tottenham
This is a tough one to call. United looked back somewhere close to their best when coming from 2-0 down to beat an in-form Aston Villa on Boxing Day. However, they followed up that promising performance with a lifeless 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest just days later. You never quite know what United side will show up.
Spurs have also been somewhat unpredictable this season but head to Old Trafford with five wins in their last six. Their away record is not quite so positive, with just one win in four on the road. It also remains to be seen how they will deal with the absence of key players at the Asia Cup and African Cup of Nations. Most notably, top scorer Heung-Min Son will be missing.
Both sides have been hampered by defensive injuries and neither has looked comfortable at the back. There are goals in this one, and we think United could nick all three points on home soil.
Manchester United win and both teams to score – 3.26
Juventus vs Sassuolo
Lastly, we’re in Italy where Juventus continue their hunt for the title against Sassuolo. The Old Lady’s impressive form has largely been down their defensive record, especially at home. They are unbeaten in the league at the Allianz this season and have won eight of their last nine home games in all competitions. During this run, they have kept five clean sheets and conceded just four goals.
Sassuolo head to Turin off the back of five defeats in their last seven. They will likely be no match for an in-form Italian giant.
Juventus win to nil – 2.27
