He scored 30+ points in five of Boston’s opening six matches. If he continues at this pace and the Celtics make a run at the Championship, he could be in the MVP conversation.

Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Clippers
This is one of the standout match-ups of the weekend and we’re siding with Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. In their opening seven matches, their only defeat came against the reigning champions Denver, and even then it was close. Doncic outscored Nikola Jokic in that game, but that pails in comparison to his achievements in the opening two matches. The Slovenian put up a 33-point triple-double in the 126-119 win over San Antonio, as well as scoring 49 points in the 125-120 victory against Brooklyn. He could single-handedly drag Dallas to the finals.

Orlando Magic vs Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee are another team that feature among the favourites to win the Championship. After adding Damian Lillard to an already star-studded roster, there won’t be too many betting against them. It has once again been Giannis Antetokounmpo setting the league alight and he is averaging 26 points alongside Lillard’s 22.7. The Bucks roster goes deep and this could prove vital if they are going to mount a challenge to Denver’s crown.
